1. Lost people matter to God. He wants them found.
Luke 19:10 — For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.

2. Prayer is a primary work of the people of God.
John 15:5c — apart from Me you can do nothing.

3. Knowing and obeying God’s Word is fundamental to maturing as followers of Christ.
Joshua 1:8a — Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it.

4. The church should reflect Christ’s love: through its care and community among those inside the church; and through its care and welcome to those outside the church.
Ephesians 2:19 — Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household.

Matthew 11:28-29 — Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
